I handed in my programming assignment last Monday. It should be working ... but something always goes wrong in live demos (which is today).
I think I spent until 10pm or 11pm working on it on a Sunday night. You can that there's something wrong when I work that long on a Sunday night. The website is ugly; but its working. No points for visual appeal will be given. That's why I didn't give a crap about how it's going to look.
Also, I found that automated testing is much easier. Why didn't I look into this before?
These are the two tools that I used, besides the programming and testing ones: Lorem Ipsum generator and Lorem Pixium.
Lorem Ipsum gives me dummy text to work with. I stick it in the page and there's an example of how the page text will look. Much better than wasting my time looking up similarly sized texts.
But Lorem Pixium is the really nice generator. It gives you pictures of anything to be used as design place-holders. Coupled with Lorem Pixium, it is a very powerful tool.
Just for laughs, I included a user in the website:
Username: milo
Screen name: Stanley Ipkiss
Password: mask
I wonder if my tutor will catch the reference.
